About Togashu
Togashu is a curated home and lifestyle brand devoted to drinkware and tableware shaped by time, material, and thoughtful use. Our focus begins with whisky glasses crafted through traditional East Asian techniques, where form and function are inseparable.
Togashu did not begin with a business plan.
It began at home — with a simple search for a whisky glass we genuinely wanted to use every day.
Not something ornamental.
Not mass-produced.
And not disconnected from how people actually drink, host, and live.
That search led us to traditional cut-glass craftsmanship and masu-inspired forms, and eventually to a quiet realization: many beautifully made objects either never reach those who would truly value them, or lose their integrity when reproduced at scale. Togashu exists to bridge that distance — carefully, and with restraint.
Rather than offering everything, Togashu exists to curate.
Each piece we select must meet three standards: enduring design, honest materials, and craftsmanship that supports real use — not display alone. Curation, to us, also means knowing what to exclude.
We deliberately avoid items created purely for decoration, mass-produced imitations, or products driven by novelty or low price. If a piece does not feel balanced in the hand, practical in daily use, and made to endure, it does not belong at Togashu — regardless of trends or margins.
Every product in our collection is chosen with intention. We work with makers and suppliers who respect traditional techniques while understanding modern use. If a piece does not meet our expectations for quality and integrity, it does not enter our offering.
At this stage, Togashu operates as a curated brand. Over time, as our relationships deepen, we aim to develop closer sourcing and trade partnerships, allowing us to introduce more refined drinkware, tea sets, tableware, and home objects — all guided by a shared respect for material honesty and understated elegance.
We believe trust is earned through responsibility, not promises.
If a product arrives with a quality-related issue, we offer a refund without requiring a return whenever possible. When expectations are not met for other reasons, we take the time to listen and respond with care — whether through guidance, partial compensation, or store credit. Our aim is not a single transaction, but a lasting relationship.
Togashu is for those who value well-made objects and the quiet satisfaction of using them — for a personal ritual, a shared table, or a meaningful gift. We hope to become a place you return to when you seek something considered, dependable, and truly worth keeping.
